Asked why details of some of my direct debits not available on my account. Response: Don't know, can't do anything about it

I asked why details of some of my direct debits not available on my account. Response: Don't know, Santander can't do anything about it. I was told that to sort this out I would have to contact the organisation being paid with the DD, which makes no sense.

Santander UK - Blocked account and terrible customer service and communication.
Santander blocked my bank account 4 days ago to protect me from fraud. They say the account will be blocked for up to 14 days while the back office investigates. There is no recourse to speak to anyone who can unblock the account, or communicate by email, WhatsApp or any other method than by phone to customer service, who do not have the authority to take action. I have made 7 phone calls of over an hour each, and got nowhere. In the meantime, I am overseas with no ability to manage my bank account or pay time sensitive payments, impacting on my credit score. Stay far away from this bank!

We tried booking a ticket I found one I put in my card details for santandler it said payment failed so I tried again another ticket I put in my card details for santandler again it said payment failed so I said ok I bought the tickets from Barclays it was alright so I closed it there but I checked my card it said there is a payment for 155£ and I did an accident for another ticket for 60£ but I didnt go on that ferry so is it ok if I can get those moneys back if its ok can you contact us back as soon as possible

My card and my mums card got mislaid so I rang the bank to cancel both cards This was done quite quickly with a friendly and helpful agent at Santander customer service.

User's recommendation: Try find a bank or building society that has still got branches open neer to you .or at least an ongoing drive to be able to speak with a non ai .intelligence.ie .human in a reasonable time frame .an not opshion after opshion then a long wate only to have someone that needs then to put you on jold agane because thay need to speek to a manager .perhaps I should have asked for that at the start..

Santander have stopped my payment to Ovcado

I ordered some Food shopping and their customer care team helped me to order on line but later on I saw message from Ocado to say the bank had rejected my food why did Santander ring me to check if it was me that had ordered instead of stopping it how damn Embarasing is that.I was in tears and all it needed was for someone to ring me to varyfy it was me .
